Narrow Endemics

Dendrobates tinctorius (azureus). Until recently this blue form of the wide ranging species, Dendrobates tinctorius was described as Dendrobates azureus. The distribution of this form is restricted to a few pockets of rainforest which are separated from other members of the species by vast savannah.
